The Real Housewives of Orange County

I just love the dynamic between the ladies on "The Real Housewives of Orange County". They are all so different, but at the same time, alike in so many ways.

They live in one of the most affluent counties in the United States, and therefore have lots of money, if not from their careers, then from starring on this reality TV show where new episodes can be seen on Bravo on Tuesday evenings.

The real housewives are Vicki, Tamra, Gretchen, Alexis (probably not her real name), and Heather (the newest housewife to join the group). They are all superficial, yet lovable in their own way.

Let's put it this way - they have big b__bs, big lips, big mouths, AND big hearts. Their feelings get hurt by the other houswives' remarks and opinions but they also make their own opinions and feelings known - not only to each other - but to the world by putting them out there on national television for the world to witness.

At times I find myself not liking one or the other of them for something they say or do to another housewife, and then I think, "Hey, wait a minute, this is probably not real!". But, what if it is? All of them seem so genuine in their feelings for the others, and when they sit down with Andy Kaufman for a reunion, it doesn't seem like they are pretending about how they feel about each other.

It's more like what you see is what you get. They don't care about hurting each other's feelings when they are speaking to the camera and giving their perspective on a recent situation or speaking the truth as they see it. Sometimes one or the other of them may even stick up for another housewife that is on the outs with the group. "Real" or not, it's quite entertaining to say the least.
